Review of Club Mahindra Kodaikanal

This is a lovely resort in a terrific location in a beautiful hill station. What more could one ask for in the mountains? The property itself is lush and green, especially in the rains and its location makes it a step away from the action, yet secluded. If you're lucky to get one of the rooms overlooking the valley below (as we did), you can sit in your small verandah and watch the clouds stream by. if you don't get one of those rooms, you can stroll up to Coaker's Walk, the scenic walking stretch right next door. I love going to the hills in the rains, when they look most magical and Kody was glorious in November. If you do, make sure to take a light raincoat. The resort will give you an umbrella but it's much better to have your hands free when climbing up those winding mountain paths. PS Remember South India has tow rainy seasons - after summer and towards the end of the year.
