Visit the 46-metre lighthouse near Vypin jetty. You can also do a boat ride, hire a pedal boat or row boat to idly skim the water surface or do your own fishing. A picturesque location, it is perfect to catch the local fishermen in their traditional canoes and colourful boats. While Breakwater Point is best enjoyed during sunset when everything is washed in the golden rays of the setting sun, spend a night in a houseboat to best enjoy Cherai’s backwaters.
