Review of Club Mahindra Dharamshala

A leisurely 7 hour drive to Club Mahindra Dharamshala from Chandigarh, set against majestic snow-top mountains and pretty rivulets alongside. The resort is located about 30 mins away from key tourist spot McLeod Ganj. The property is small compared to other Club Mahindra properties, more a hotel than a resort. The staff was extremely helpful at all contact points. We had taken 2 studios on the top floor. However, the rooms looked a bit outdated. The bathrooms, thou clean looked not too appealing. The food buffet again, thou not bad was very regular and unexciting for the amount we had paid. We wanted to get acupressure massage done but it had to be done in the room itself. Also we wanted to try their guided meditation session, but were unable to go so since the meditation room was being used to store some other things. Due to some unfortunate circumstances we needed the doctor on call, but he was unreachable as well. However, what stood out and made the trip worthy was the service and help at the reception and the head of housekeeping. Also, DO Not forget to rush to the window every time you wake up, sleep, enter the room, exit the room the mountain view is truly beautiful. The location makes is a good spot to walk around, go into fields and have lots of picture worthy moments
