Review of Club Mahindra Acacia Palms Resort, Goa

I stayed at this property at Colva last week with my family and infant son. The resort is small by the other club mahindra property standards, but i feel this is better than the other club mahindra properties because it offers a lot more peace and quiet if your not an activity oriented person. The pool is tiny but sufficient for the 60 key count. The restaurant has a good mix of everything including Goan food though its not the best you'll eat on your trip to Goa, but it's good enough if you get tired to go out to shacks and restaurants and just want to hang out at their restaurant or eat in your rooms The rooms are spacious and very clean. In fact the housekeeping needs to be commended here. I would only request for larger hand towels in the room as the face towels are too tiny. All rooms have balconies many face the sea and it's lovely to sit out and have a cup of tea listening to the waves. Colva Beach is very close by and many shacks are a stones throw away from the resort gate. Colva is also close by to many famous restaurants that you would want to visit for lunch or dinner, Martins corner (15mins by car), Fisherman's wharf (30 mins by car) Red ginger (30 min walk) Manisha provides good fried seafood with beer at colva beach albeit not in the best atmosphere but then that's goa. Lastly I would like to commend the staff including the GM Mr Benard and all the friendly ladies at the reception who made us feel warm and welcomed. Going forward I will certainly skip all the Club Mahindra properties in Goa and go back to Accacia palms.
